Since 2023 we have committed to supporting a limited number of art institutions over a three-year period to build teenage confidence and wellbeing through visual art.
We have a focus on supporting work with underserved communities. In our second year, the average percentage of pupils eligible for free school meals across the schools participating in our funded projects was 47%.

The Mildred Fund pilot project
A pilot project with Turner Contemporary focused on working with children not attending school. A programme was developed in partnership with Arts Education Exchange and Virtual Schools Kent. Launched in October 2022, the project responded to the...
